Email: editorial@chainmarginnotes.com. The desk has no Telegram, Discord or DM channel.
What to send:
- Errata. Link the note and the on-chain data, docs commit or governance post that contradicts it.
- Research requests. Mechanisms, incidents or design trade-offs you’d like examined. Requests with a specific question get picked up faster than broad ones.
- Sponsorship. Read the advertising terms before writing.
Impersonation
The desk will never message you first, ask for a seed phrase or private key, ask you to sign a transaction or connect a wallet, or offer to recover lost funds. Any account doing that under this name is running a scam. Losses to fraud can be reported to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.
Advice requests
The desk can’t give personal financial or investment advice, comment on whether you should open or close a position, or review your portfolio or wallet.
Vulnerability reports
If you’ve found a bug in a protocol, report it to that team’s security contact or bug bounty program first. The desk writes about incidents after disclosure and won’t publish details of an unpatched issue. Once a fix is live, a link to the post-mortem is a useful thing to send.
